Finding the perfect venue for your special day can often be difficult especially in central London. At Smithy’s we can offer you a unique venue with charm and character that will ensure a beautiful and warm atmosphere for your celebrations.

We have hosted many wedding and civil ceremony receptions and offer a bespoke service to ensure that every detail is as you envisage.

We can assist in organising every aspect of your day from menu choices to decorations and entertainment and we even have an in-house pastry chef who creates the most delicious and intricately designed cakes.

Now we`re back from honeymoon and safely arrived in Canada I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for all the hard work you and your team put into making our wedding reception absolutely perfect.

We knew we were in safe hands from your handling of the preparations, but we were still impressed on the day by how smoothly everything went. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic - unobtrusive, but right there when you wanted them. I know on the top table at least there were some last minute adjustments and requests which they accommodated efficiently and with good grace. Most of all, they seemed like genuinely nice people. You run a tight and happy ship and I would recommend Smithy`s to anyone in a heartbeat.

Many of the guests are London-based and said they didn`t know of Smithy`s before but would definitely be coming back, so I hope that proves true.

"It was important to us to have our wedding reception in Central London, and after checking out several venues, we were delighted to stumble across Smithy's. It was the first venue that didn’t seem to add a zero to their prices simply because of the dreaded ‘W’ word and from our first visit, we were taken with the no-nonsense approach of Dominique and her team, the quality of the food and the feel of the venue.

Our wedding reception was stylish, tasteful, memorable and oodles of fun without being pretentious or pricey (despite the 85 mojitos unexpectedly enjoyed by our guests!). The highlight for us was the never-ending professionalism of the staff team, in particular their ability to mix consistently excellent service with exactly the right level of fun and friendliness – even at 2am.
